the early warning signs of a stroke

A stroke is defined as, interruption or no blood supply to the brain. because a blood vessel bursts or is blocked by a clot, the supply of oxygen and necessary nutrients is reduced or blocked resulting in damage to the brain tissue. stroke are two types of transient ischemic attack (TIA), and hemorrhage stroke. Stroke is also known as a brain attack.

  1. Transient ischemic attack ( TIA): If symptoms last less than one or two hours it is known as a transient ischemic attack (tia).
  2. Hemorrhagic stroke: may also be associated with a severe headache.

Signs, and symptoms

  • a most common symptoms of a stroke sudden weakness.
  • face drop to one side.
  • arm and leg weakness /numbness on one side of the body.
  • confusion, difficulty speaking or understanding speech.
  • slurred speech.
  • difficulty seeing one or both eyes.
  • difficulty walking, dizziness, loss of balance.
  • severe headache.
  • fainting or unconsciousness. 

how to prevent stroke

To take medical advice in case of following medical conditions. 

  • High blood pressure,
  • Diabetes (blood sugar),
  • Heart disease,
  • Cholesterol problem,
  • Prior to stroke  or heart attack,
  • Blood clotting problem,
  • Avoid smoking and chewing tobacco,
  • Exercises regularly,
  • Do routine medical check-ups.


  • If the victim becomes unconscious but still breathing put him /her in the recovery position.
  • If the victim becomes unconscious or stops breathing do CPR.

Do not 

  • Do not give the victim any food, water, or tablets by mouth.
  • Do not permit the victim to move.
