The menstrual cycle ceases during pregnancy. why

Menstrual cycle definitionThe menstrual cycle is the process of producing and releasing mature ova. also called the month of menstruation in Latin. The onset of the menstrual cycle indicates that a woman achieved the ability to born a child.

Menstrual cycle days - Normally the regular menstruation cycle is 28 days.  it takes place after a period of every 28 days (one month). The menstrual cycle may be shorter or longer. some women get their cycle 21- 40 days, which is normal.

The menstrual cycle has 4 stagesmenstruation, follicular phase, ovulation, and, luteal phase and controlled by the female hormones that are released from glands.
  1. menstruation
  2. follicular phase
  3. ovulation, and
  4. luteal phase

Menstrual cycle - The mature egg (ova) is pushed down from the ovary to the fallopian tube. Every month an egg is released by the ovary and it enters the fallopian tube. and meet with sperm. The fertilization process begins.

The lining of the uterus is thickened for the preparation of fertilized eggs. If there is no fertilization (with male gametes) the uterine wall start to breaking, and the unfertilized egg turns down from the uterus, which is called menstruation.

  1. The uterus prepares itself for the development of a baby, the uterus contains blood vessels and other nutrients for a baby to grow. If the egg is fertilized, it sticks to the uterine wall and starts growing.
  2. If the egg is not fertilized, the uterus expels it from the body.
  3. Tissue and blood come out of the uterus through the vagina. This is called the menstrual cycle. Bleeding usually lasts for 3-5 days.
  4. After this, the uterus starts preparing for another egg. The period between this period is about 28 days to 1 month. Usually, this is common but in some cases, cramps (painful cramps) or abdominal bloating (swelling) are felt.

What is the reason for changing the date of the menstrual cycle?

Irregular menstruation due to the changes in the levels of the hormones estrogen and progesterone in their body may disrupt their normal pattern of periods. Women who are young girls undergoing puberty and women approaching menopause usually have irregular periods.

There may be other causes of irregular menstruation, menopause, physical stress, psychological stress, smoking, or side effects of medication, family history, etc.

2: The ovaries release two hormones, estrogen, and progesterone, which alter the lining of the uterus and prepare them for a possible pregnancy.

3: Then the egg goes into the fallopian tube.

4: If the egg is not fertilized by a sperm, it dies and starts coming out of the uterus.

5: The lining of the uterus starts to break down and there is a lack of blood, it usually lasts for 3-5 days.
Called the menstrual cycle or menstruation.
